This website exists to provide drug checking results to individuals and registered programs that use our lab-based mail-in drug checking service. All data, results, and content displayed are protected under applicable copyright, data protection, and intellectual property laws.

Permitted Uses & Datasets
Individual sample donors may access their own results using their assigned sample ID and QR code. Registered client programs may request regularly updated aggregated datasets of their samples by contacting us at opioiddatalab@unc.edu, which they are free to do whatever they wish with. The aggregated North Carolina dataset is publicly available for general use; please get in touch with us if you would like to use it.

Prohibited Uses
Unauthorized scraping, crawling, harvesting, indexing, or automated collection of any data from this site is strictly prohibited. This prohibition applies to all third parties, including but not limited to artificial intelligence systems, large language model training pipelines, commercial data aggregators, and any automated bots or agents. No data from this site may be reproduced, redistributed, sold, sublicensed, incorporated into AI training datasets, visualization dashboards, or used for any commercial or research purpose without prior written authorization from the UNC Opioid Data Lab.
